I haven't updated this journal in over a YEAR. Well. I'm not going to recap 2008 for you guys, sorry, it'd take too long. *sighs*

On February 20th, this year, I had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. I'd been experiencing pain since the 5th of the month but initially thought it was just stress. Maybe I should have done something about it sooner and it'd have been less bad. It was inflamed and infected when they got to it, and there were stones. Big ones. So they had to cut me open and take it out and I got eighteen staples for the trouble. Ick.

Luckily I don't have any dietary restrictions, though I suppose I'll have to be more careful now about what I eat anyway, since I'm pretty sure the gallbladder has something to do with digestion.
